Ages: Preschool age to those who have completed 5th grade When: July 13-17, 2025 (Sunday-Thursday), 6:00 - 8:00 PM Where: Schneider Parish Center At OLC VBS, kids explore God’s goodness and celebrate a fierce faith that powers them through this beautiful life. The OLC Catholic Adult Faith Enrichment (CAFÉ) team is planning a small summer program which will meet twice in July. Each night we view and discuss a video from a recent Catholic conference. The meetings will take place from 6:30-7:45 PM in the conference room at the SPC. A Zoom link will be available for anyone who wishes to participate remotely. The videos are unrelated and you may attend one class or both. Registration is not required. Annual Back Pack and School Supply Drive The Parkesburg Churches Community Outreach (PCCO) is holding its Annual 2025 Back Pack and School Supply Drive to support local churches, including our parish. We are collecting back packs and school supplies to help support the Parkesburg Point and children in our community.
If you would like to donate to this worthy cause, please check your emails or click the sign up link in the button below. If you do not have email please call the rectory to see what school items are needed. School supplies can be dropped off Monday - Thursday between 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM at the Parkesburg Point, 700 Main St. Parkesburg, PA. The deadline is Thursday, July 31, 2025. Give to PIME: The Pontifical Institute MissionOn June 28 and 29, 2025, Fr. Dennis Koltz spoke at all of our Masses about the work of the PIME Missionaries (The Pontifical Institute for Foreign Missions). Founded in Italy in 1850, PIME Missionaries are priests and brothers who dedicate themselves as lifelong messengers of the Gospel to those who have not yet heard the Word of God.
They live and work alongside the poorest among us in 20 countries, shedding light on the silent struggles of our brothers and sisters in the missions and connecting them to those with a spirit to help. Please pray for the work of this Missionary Group and please provide as you are able. Envelopes for the Missions are located at the entrance of each worship site and can be returned in future weeks.
