Order Chocolate-covered Pretzels
from LifeTeen Now!

Our LifeTeen youth group is selling homemade chocolate-covered pretzels to help support their Mission trip to Niagara Falls this summer. Pretzels are just $15 for a 1-pound box with your choice of either milk or dark chocolate.

Order your pretzels before February 2, 2025 to ensure you get them. Pretzels will be ready for pick-up or delivery the week of February 10, 2025. Please see Adrianna McCaw ([email protected]) or any LifeTeen member to purchase your delicious chocolate-covered pretzels or to answer any questions.

Catholic Schools Week

From Sunday, January 26, 2025, to Saturday, February 1, 2025, Catholic schools nationwide will observe the week with Masses, assemblies and other activities for students, families, parishioners and community members to celebrate what makes Catholic schools great.

Next weekend, we welcome students from Pope John Paul II Regional Catholic Elementary School who will greet parishioners before Mass and distribute prayer cards after Mass.

Let's Help Kids Thrive!

St. Patrick's and OLC will co-host a presentation on how we can help our children thrive in a phone-based culture , "A Catholic Take on Smartphones and Social Media."
The guest speaker is Alex Haynie who works for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.
This event will take place at St. Patrick's Church, 212 Meredith St. Kennett Square, Pa. beginning at 7:00 PM on Thursday, January 30, 2025 in their St. Joseph Room.
We would love to have a great turn out of OLC families attending this event!!

This presentation is FREE!

If you attend, you will be given a FREE pass for your child to miss a Sunday/Tuesday PREP class!

Jan 31, Listening Party for 2nd Album

OLC Accompanist and Youth Minister Adrianna McCaw's second studio album titled "Greater" will be released on Friday, January 31, 2025. In celebration of the contemporary Christian album's release, Adrianna will be hosting a listening party where she will share her new music, as well as insight into the writing and recording of the album.

The listening party is Friday, January 31, at 7:00 pm at the SPC. CD's will be available for purchase at the event and after all Masses the following weekend.

Padre Pio at St. Peter's

New CAFÉ Class

The Catholic Adult Faith Enrichment (CAFÉ) team is offering an eight-week video series titled “Luke: The Story of Salvation Fulfilled” beginning Thursday, February 6, 2025. The speakers are Jeff Cavins and Dr. Jeffrey Morrow.

In this study we will cover all of Luke’s Gospel, which includes a few well-known parables not found in the other three Gospels and also the story about the Road to Emmaus.

The class will meet Thursday evenings from 6:30-8:00 PM in the conference room at the SPC. A Zoom link will be provided for those who prefer to participate remotely. There is a workbook for this course, but it is optional. The cost is $27.95 plus shipping and sales tax. If you wish to view the videos at home, you can purchase a year of streaming rights for $6.95. The streaming subscription gives you online access to the workbook.

OLC Music Ministry Christmas Fun!!

2024 OLC Christmas Concert

The OLC Music Ministry presented a Christmas Concert, Saturday, December 14, 20224 at the Schneider Parish Center and it was a wonderful time!

It included several new songs from the Voices of Praise choir, solos by Cecilia Reece, Robb Graves and Lucy Menas, and a duet by Janeen Walker and Adrianna McCaw. A four-hand piano piece was played by Charlene and Adrianna McCaw, a quartet of Kirsten Howard and Adrianna McCaw played guitars & sang vocals with Robin Theirs and Janeen Walker on vocals, and a guitar prelude of instrumental carols was provided by Kelly Walker.

Fun with Harps at SPC!

Guest harpist, Cass Jendzurski, played at the 11:15 AM Mass on November 3, 2024 and gave a presentation after Mass. Cass is a member of Songs for the Journey, providing comfort care at end of life through music. All who attended had a great time!

The Craft Fair was a BIG Success!!

Thank you to all who attended and helped in making the craft fair an AMAZING community event this year!! This was our biggest year for sure with so many compliments on how welcomed everyone felt, including the crafters. The basket raffle also made the highest amount ever raised in years!! Thank you to the groups who made up the baskets: LifeTeen, Music Ministry, Young at Heart, LTJV/One8 and PREP 1-5.
