The priest, pastoral staff, and parish community of Our Lady of Consolation Parish extend our prayers and heartfelt compassion to you and your family at this difficult time. The Christian life of faith is not a guarantee we will be free from hardship and suffering. It is a promise, however, we will never carry our crosses alone. What our Catholic faith teaches us is Christ will be with us even in the moments of trial and the love of Christ will never leave us especially at this time of loss and grief.
We want you to know in the days and months ahead your parish community is willing to help, yet we need to know what we can do for you. We are also aware we cannot remove your pain, but we are willing to assist you as much as possible as you attempt to find God's loving presence even in the midst of suffering and loss.
To help you during this time, we have put together a brief Funeral Guidelines booklet which can be downloaded as needed. Please contact the Parish Rectory at 610-857-3510 with questions about funeral preparations or for more information.
