The Pastoral Council is composed of parish members whose ministry is to advise the Pastor on the day-to-day workings of the parish. Primary responsibilities include making sure that the best interests of the entire parish are being served. Typical interests are the financial health of the parish, physical conditions of the worship sites and rectory, oversight of the educational ministries, and providing an overall sense of Christian family in the parish. Rev. Victor J. Eschbach, Pastor
Fr. Eschbach has been the Pastor of Our Lady of Consolation since 1993. Formerly from Philadelphia, he lists the church as his spouse and the 4000 Parish members as his children. His job includes comforting the afflicted and afflicting the comfortable. Other church involvement includes spending money, talking a lot, forgiving sins and marrying people. His hobbies include making trouble and praying a lot. |
Bill Mann, Chairman
Bill and his wife Mary Ann, have been members of the Parish since 1990. They have 3 grown children: Brigid, Colleen and Billy; and 5 grandchildren. Formerly from Newark, NJ, Bill is the owner of Xpert Printing Services. He is involved in the Adult Choir, PreCana and the Parish newsletter. He is a stained glass enthusiast, as well as an avid golfer and junior golf instructor. |
Clevio (Monk) Angelo
Monk and his wife Rosemary (Cookie) have been members of the Parish since 1996. Formerly from Collingdale, Monk has 3 grown children: Philip, Alicia and Rebecca. He is a retired American History middle school teacher from Unionville-Chadds Ford School District. Monk has taught CCD classes and has been singing in the Adult Choir since 1997. He is a Philadelphia sports fan, a model railroader, and enjoys watching old movies. |
Brian Appolloni
Brian and his wife Ann have been members of the Parish since 1993. They have 3 grown children: Amanda, Ashley, and Alexa; and 5 grandchildren. A native of Parkesburg, Brian works as a Corrosion Technician. He is very involved with the youth of our Parish, serving as an LTJV and Life Teen Core Member. He enjoys hiking, golfing, and traveling. Janice Dagney
Janice and her husband Joe have been members of the Parish since 1996. Formerly from Connellsville, PA in western Pennsylvania, she is the Parish's Director of Religious Education. You will find Janice at 99% of the church events, especially if they involve our children and youth, helping in any way possible! She has 4 children and 2 grandchildren and loves spending time with all of her family as well as camping and her monthly Bunco game with the girlfriends. |

Joseph Dagney
Joe and his wife Janice have been members of the Parish since 1996. They have 4 children: Jamie, Jacob, Jaycee and Jarod. Formerly from Wildwood, NJ, Joe is a guidance counselor. He is a driving force in our LTJV and Life Teen youth programs. He is also a local volunteer coach for youth baseball and basketball. |
Darren Hodorovich
Darren and his wife Sandy have been members of the parish since 2006. They have 3 children - Corey, Jared and Madison. Formerly from Philadelphia, Darren is the owner of "Oh My! Lunch", a corporate catering business. Patrick Fleming
Patrick, and his wife Elisa, joined the parish in 2009 for a year before moving out of the area. In 2013, they moved back to the area and to our Parish. Originally from Hellertown, PA, Patrick is a Professor of Economic and Public Policy at Franklin & Marshall College. He has a graduate degree in Theology from the John Paul II Institute for Studies on Marriage and Family. In addition to helping with the Life Teen program at our church, he calls himself a "weekend and evening farmer" (Elisa is the full-time farmer), and he enjoys music, grilling, whiskey and reading (not necessarily in that order!). Anita O'Meara
Anita has been a member of the Parish since 1991. She and her late husband Durand are the parents of 3 boys, Durand II, Bryan and Collin. An attorney who grew up in Philadelphia, Anita also serves as a Eucharistic Minister and helps with the Confirmation PREP class. She enjoys cooking, gardening and wine making. John Przychodzien
John, his wife Lisa and daughter Megan have been members of the Parish since 2011, originally from Coatesville they now live in the Gap area. He is involved with the running of the Parish’s 500 Club and likes helping out and attending as many church related activities as he can. John works as a Project Manager for the Lancaster-Lebanon Intermediate Unit. He enjoys traveling, carpentry and spending time with his family. Jack Reece
Jack and his wife Kathy have been members of the Parish since 1998. They have 6 grown children. Formerly from Philadelphia, Jack is the foreman for Entenmann Bakery's fleet of trucks. He is involved in the Prayer Group as well as any other Parish group that needs help. He spends any free time that he finds helping others in any way he can. Scott Ray
Scott, and his wife Sharon, are fairly new to the Parish (and to Catholicism), after completing the R.C.I.A. program in 2015. Scott grew up in Akron, OH, spent his college years at the University of South Carolina, lived in Atlanta, GA and Newark, DE before finally settled in our area in 2003. They have 2 boys - Jackson and Christian. He is the owner of a corporate travel management company and also works as an adjunct business instructor at Delaware County Community College. He is involved with the One8 Core Team as well as working with the R.C.I.A. class. In his spare time, his number 1 priority is supporting his boys in the stands at basketball (Christian) and baseball (Jackson) games. His primary hobby is running and Scott is also pursuing his Masters in Theology. |
Kathy Rick
Kathy, and her husband Paul, have been members of the parish since 1978, long before the rest of us! She has two grown sons, PJ and Justin. Originally from Aston, PA, Kathy works in industrial sales. Mary Wishneski
Mary and her husband Rob have been members of the Parish since 1992. They have 5 children: Molly, Emily, Jack, Cecilia and Michael. Formerly from Adamstown, PA, Mary is the Business Manager of the Parish. She is involved in too many church-related activities and must make it a point to volunteer in outside activities. She enjoys reading, traveling, cooking and watching her children play the "sport of the season". |
