PREP & LTJV Registration!

PREP Registration

LTJV Registration

Our first day of PREP (Parish Religious Education Program) will begin on Sunday, September 14, 2025, from 9:15 - 10:45 AM at the Schneider Parish Center (SPC). PREP registration is for those children entering into kindergarten up to 5th grade.

September 16, 2025, on Tuesday evenings at the SPC, our OLC LTJV (Life Teen Junior Varsity) 2025/2026 will begin for those children entering 6th and 7th grade.

Click the appropriate button to fill out information for your child/children to register for LTJV and/or PREP. Schedules will be sent out later.

Please be sure to make your payment on the first day of LTJV/PREP. If this is a financial burden, please see Mrs. Dagney to set up a payment plan. Checks written out to OLC Church.

One8 for Confirmation Students (those in 8th grade or up) will be receiving a hard copy registration in the mail soon. One8 will have a parent meeting on September 8, 2025 at the SPC.

Closet Clean Out for a Great Cause!

It's that time of year to start cleaning out your closets! The Parkesburg Churches Community Outreach (PCCO) is accepting new and gently used winterwear (coats, boots, gloves, mittens, scarves and hats).

Donations can be dropped off at IMPACT Church, 101 E. First Ave., Parkesburg, PA, on October 11 - 14, 2025. Winterwear will be available FREE to the public on Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the IMPACT Church.

Want to guide the next generation?

As we prepare for the upcoming year of religious education, we are in need of a couple of faith-filled, caring individuals to serve as PREP teachers/Core Team members. If you have a love for our Catholic faith and a desire to share it with the next generation, we would love to have you join us!

We are currently looking for Catechists for Level 4 on Sunday mornings from 9:15-10:45 AM and on Tuesday evenings 6:30-8:00 PM for our LTJV class (Levels 6 & 7).
No prior teaching experience is needed, just a willingness to guide children on their journey of faith. Training and support will be provided.

Many hands = light work

We need volunteers to help clean Our Lady of Consolation Church! A group of volunteers would have a regular cleaning rotation so we don't rely on any one person. Currently, we have just one individual who cleans weekly and does a wonderful job. But we need more than one person!

Check Out Our Life Teen Mission Trip!

Several of our young people recently went to Niagara Falls on their annual Mission Trip sponsored by Catholic Heart Work Camps.

They worked in the city of Niagara Falls and on the Tuscarora Indian reservation, doing projects like building wheelchair ramps, home improvement, cleaning & organizing, yard work, working with children, working at soup kitchens, working with park districts, painting, etc.

Thursday night, July 17, 2025, was the culmination of OLC's VBS! The finale program was great and all enjoyed the show.

From preschoolers to those who have completed 5th grade, the kids explored God’s goodness and celebrated the fierce faith that powers them.
